The airplane grasping toy is made using hard maple, a dense, non-splintering wood, so it's safe for baby to play with for hours! It's lightweight and easy to hold, working on all those fine motor skills that are so important early on! The silicone beads make for an added texture and extra soothing sensation! Just tell us what color beads to add from the drop down.
All toys come sanded satin smooth and left natural with no finish. The airplane is approximately 4" x 3.5" with a grasping hole in the center.

Each airplane is cut from hard maple, a dense wood that resists splintering even after months of chewing and dropping. Every piece is sanded satin smooth and left natural, so there is no finish for baby to mouth, just clean wood ready for little hands.
The food grade silicone beads thread through the center of the airplane, giving baby a different texture to explore alongside the wood. You choose the bead color, so the toy can match your nursery or just be your baby's favorite combination.
Leave the toy plain or have a single word permanently laser engraved on the wing, a name, a nickname, or a word that means something to your family. It turns a simple grasping toy into something you will want to keep long after baby outgrows it.

What age is this toy appropriate for?
It is designed for ages 0 and up, with the maple body and silicone beads sized for small hands to grasp. As with any toy that has a grasping hole or beads, always use it with full supervision.
Is the wood safe if my baby chews on it?
Yes, it is made from hard maple, a dense wood chosen specifically because it resists splintering. The toy is left natural with no finish applied, and it is CPSC compliant.
Can the silicone beads come loose?
The beads are threaded securely through the center of the airplane, but you should inspect the toy and beads before every use. Discard the toy if you notice any damage or if beads feel loose.
How do I choose a bead color?
At checkout you can select your preferred bead color from the drop down menu. This lets you match the toy to your nursery colors or simply pick your favorite.
Can I put two words on the toy instead of one?
The listing includes one engraved word at no extra step. If you want a second word, such as a first and middle name, you will need to add that separately through the personalization add-on.
