This baby rattle is natural and unstained, made from responsibly harvested trees, and is sure to last long enough to be passed down through several generations in your family. The finish is safe yet durable and made from an organic mix of flaxseed oil and locally grown beeswax. Choose any 3 colors for your disks!

Each rattle is cut from solid cherry hardwood, left natural and unstained so the grain of the wood shows through. It is sturdy enough to survive teething and tumbles today and be handed down to the next baby in your family tomorrow.
Babies explore everything with their mouths, and this rattle is finished with an organic blend of flaxseed oil and locally grown beeswax instead of synthetic coatings. It is smooth to hold, gentle on gums, and sized for small hands to grip and shake.

Is this rattle safe for a newborn to use?
Yes, it is designed and labeled for ages 0 and up and is CPSC compliant. As with any toy, supervise young babies during play.
What happens if my baby chews on the wood?
That is expected. The finish is made from organic flaxseed oil and beeswax specifically so it is safe if your baby mouths or gnaws on the rattle.
How does the engraving work?
You can leave the rattle plain or choose permanent laser engraving for a single word, two words, or full birth stats including name, date, time, length, and weight. Two words or hyphenated names require selecting the two word option at checkout.
Can I pick my own colors for the disks?
Yes, you choose any three disk colors from the available options when you order, so you can match a nursery theme or personal preference.
Will this rattle actually last, or is it just for show?
It is made from solid cherry hardwood, not engineered wood or plastic, so it is built to withstand regular use and to be kept as a keepsake well past the baby years.
