All of Austin Air's filters are designed to last up to 5 years under normal residential use. Replacement filters for all standard size models are available below. You can check the size of your existing filter by looking for a label on the bottom of the unit. Model HM400 indicates standard size filter. Still not sure which filter you need? The Standard size filters measure 14.5” high.
Feel like upgrading your Austin Air? All standard size units are interchangeable with all standard size filters. So, if you purchased a HealthMate® and would like to upgrade to a HealthMate Plus® you can replace your old HealthMate® filter with a new HealthMate Plus® filter.
Which color replacement filter should you choose? Choose "White" for use with white or sandstone systems, and "Black" for use with midnight blue or black systems.

Austin Air standard filters are designed to deliver long service life, lasting up to five years under normal residential use. Replacing only when needed reduces hassle and total cost over time.
Standard size filters measure 14.5 inches high and fit every standard model, including units labeled HM400 on the bottom. You can swap standard filters across HealthMate and HealthMate Plus models if you upgrade your system.
Choose White prefilter for white or sandstone systems, and Black prefilter for midnight blue or black systems. The prefilter color matches the unit and provides the first layer of particle capture.
