-All our wood products come untreated. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE YOUR PRODUCT AROUND WATER OR OUTDOORS, we highly recommend sealing the product AFTER it’s been assembled.
-Excessive exposure to the sun and/or water and other liquids may cause warping and/or staining over time.
-Your product will arrive pre-sanded and untreated. It can easily be stained or painted once assembled. All products are wiped down prior to packaging, however, some wood dust may be present upon opening and can easily be cleaned off using a hair dryer or air compressor.
-Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, knots, texture and grain may occur.
-This product is made with Baltic Birch Plywood- a decorative hardwood plywood with veneer core.
-This product is both TSCA VI and CARB II compliant.
-This product is manufactured in Las Vegas, NV.
REFUND POLICY:
All of our orders are custom made-to-order and, therefore, FINAL SALE. Should you wish to return a product or cancel an order after your product has shipped, you will be responsible for the initial shipping cost in addition to the return shipping cost. However, should your product arrive damaged, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a replacement and/or refund.

Instead of relying on glue and screws alone, this bench uses slotted finger joints that lock the panels together for real structural strength. It is designed to handle climbing, sitting, and years of toddler energy without wobbling loose.
The open shelf underneath gives you a spot to line up shoes, boots, or bins right by the door. It keeps the entryway tidy while giving your toddler a place to sit down and get ready to go outside.
At a comfortable toddler height, this bench lets your child sit, climb up, and get involved in getting dressed on their own. It is a small piece of independence built right into your entryway or bedroom.
A shoe bench needs to work for your child's size, your entryway space, and your finishing preferences, so here is what to think through before you buy.
- Check the height: Look for a bench low enough for your toddler to climb onto without help, but tall enough to still be useful as your child grows. A height in the eight to twelve inch range works well for most toddlers.
- Consider the material: Solid plywood, like Baltic birch, tends to hold up better to daily climbing and sitting than particle board or thin veneer pieces. It is also easier to sand, stain, or paint if you want to customize the look later.
- Think about storage needs: An open shelf underneath is great for shoes, bins, or seasonal boots, but measure your entryway space first to make sure the length fits where you plan to put it.
- Decide on finish now or later: Unfinished wood gives you the freedom to stain, paint, or seal the bench to match your space. If you plan to use it near a door with moisture or sun exposure, plan to seal it after assembly to prevent warping.
- Factor in assembly time: Slot together designs with included hardware are usually quick to build, but set aside twenty to thirty minutes so you are not rushing the first use.
Does this bench come fully assembled?
No, some assembly is required. The pieces are designed to slot together with included hardware, and most parents find it easy to put together in under thirty minutes.
Can I paint or stain the wood?
Yes, the bench arrives pre-sanded and untreated, which makes it easy to stain, paint, or seal to match your space. It also looks clean and natural left as is.
Is this bench sturdy enough for a toddler to stand on?
It is built with slotted finger joints for real structural strength and is designed to hold up to climbing and sitting. As with any furniture, we recommend supervising young children during use.
Will the wood color and grain look exactly like the photos?
Wood is a natural material, so some variation in color, grain, and small knots is normal and expected. Each bench will look slightly unique because of this.
What if I want to use this bench outdoors or near water?
The wood ships untreated, so we recommend sealing it after assembly if it will be used outdoors or in a space with a lot of moisture. Without sealing, extended sun or water exposure can cause warping or staining over time.
