Butter Yellow Painted Stripes wall mural in butter yellow tones. Wide hand painted vertical stripes in butter yellow on warm white with soft brushy edges. Painted in soft watercolor washes with a light paper grain, so it feels hand made and stays calm on a big wall.
How To Order
1. Measure your wall (width and height, in inches or cm).
2. Pick the nearest size in the SIZE menu. Sizes are listed as width x height. If your wall is between sizes, choose the next size up; we trim to your exact wall size for free, just write your measurements in the personalization box.
3. Pick your MATERIAL (see below).
4. Not sure? Order the Sample first. It is a printed piece of the actual material.
Materials
Peel & Stick: self adhesive matte vinyl. No paste, no water, no tools. Removable and repositionable while you work, leaves no residue on a smooth, cured painted wall. Best for renters and nurseries. Not for textured or freshly painted walls.
Non-Woven: classic paste the wall paper, 180 g. Breathable, no shrinking, no bubbles, dry strippable when you redecorate. Needs standard wallpaper paste. Best for long term walls and slightly uneven surfaces.
Textured: heavier non-woven, 240 g, with a fine textured surface that hides small wall imperfections and looks like a painted canvas. Paste the wall. Best for a premium finish.
All three are printed with water based, odour free latex inks and are safe for kids rooms.
What Arrives
Your mural comes as vertical panels, each 100 cm (39 in) wide, numbered left to right: a 300 cm wall is 3 panels, a 400 cm wall is 4, a 500 cm wall is 5. Height is printed in one piece. Rolled in a sturdy tube, never folded, with a printed layout sheet. Peel and stick panels overlap about 1 cm along a printed guide; non-woven and textured panels butt join.
Installation
Clean, dry, smooth wall. Start from the left, level the first panel, work across. Smooth from the middle out to push air to the edges.
Care
Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth. Keep away from direct steam.

Each stripe is hand painted with a light brushy edge, so the pattern feels soft and organic instead of sharp or printed. The warm butter yellow and white combination works as a gentle backdrop for a nursery or big kid room, without competing with furniture or toys.
Peel and stick is self adhesive and removable, best for renters and smooth, freshly painted nursery walls. Non-woven and textured are traditional paste the wall papers, better suited to long term walls or surfaces that are not perfectly smooth.
Your mural ships rolled in a sturdy tube, never folded, so there are no creases to fight when you unroll it. Panels are numbered left to right with a printed layout sheet, so you always know where each piece goes.
A wall mural only looks effortless if the material matches your wall and the size matches your measurements, so take a minute to check both before you order.
- Measure width and height first: Measure your wall at its widest and tallest points in inches or centimeters, then pick the nearest size on the size chart. If you are between two sizes, choose the next size up and we will trim it down for free.
- Check your wall surface: Peel and stick needs a smooth, cured painted wall, so it is not a good match for textured plaster or a wall that was just painted. Non-woven and textured papers are more forgiving on slightly uneven surfaces.
- Think about how long you'll keep it: If you are renting or decorating a nursery you may change soon, peel and stick removes cleanly. For a wall you plan to keep long term, non-woven or textured wallpaper paste holds up better over the years.
- Order a sample if you are unsure: A printed sample shows you the real color and paper texture in your own lighting, which is worth doing before you commit to a full size mural.
- Plan around windows, doors, or angles: If your wall has an odd shape, a window, or a sloped ceiling, send a photo with your measurements so the panels can be laid out around it before printing.
Is this wallpaper safe for a baby's nursery?
Yes, it is printed with water based, odour free latex inks that are safe for kids' rooms. All three materials are made for this kind of use.
Which material should I pick if I'm renting?
Peel and stick is the best choice for renters because it is removable and repositionable and leaves no residue on a smooth, cured painted wall. Just avoid using it on textured or freshly painted walls.
