-All our wood products come untreated. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE YOUR PRODUCT AROUND WATER OR OUTDOORS, we highly recommend sealing the product AFTER it’s been assembled.
-Excessive exposure to the sun and/or water and other liquids may cause warping and/or staining over time.
-Your product will arrive pre-sanded and untreated. It can easily be stained or painted once assembled. All products are wiped down prior to packaging, however, some wood dust may be present upon opening and can easily be cleaned off using a hair dryer or air compressor.
-Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, knots, texture and grain may occur.
-This product is made with Baltic Birch Plywood- a decorative hardwood plywood with veneer core.
-This product is both TSCA VI and CARB II compliant.
-This product is manufactured in Las Vegas, NV.
REFUND POLICY:
All orders are custom made-to-order and, therefore, FINAL SALE. However, should your product arrived damaged, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a replacement and/or refund.

Every panel is cut from 5/8 inch non toxic Baltic birch plywood, a hardwood plywood known for its strength and smooth finish. The wood arrives pre-sanded so it is ready for stain, paint, or a clear seal, or you can leave it natural for that warm, honest wood look.
This is not just a place to sleep, it is a truck your toddler can climb into, sit in, and imagine driving. The low, open design fits a standard twin mattress and gives your child room to move in and out on their own, which is the whole point of a Montessori floor bed.
The raised sides and handle bars give your toddler something to hold onto while they climb in, without turning the bed into a crib they cannot exit independently. Pieces slot together and are secured with the included hardware, so once assembled it feels solid underfoot and stays that way.
Picking the right floor bed comes down to matching the size, finish, and design to your child's room and stage of independence.
- Check your mattress size first: Measure the mattress you already own or plan to buy so the frame fits without gaps. This bed is built for a standard twin mattress, so double check that against what you have.
- Decide on finish before assembly: Untreated wood can be left natural, stained, or painted, but it is much easier to finish the panels before you put the bed together. Think about the room's decor and whether you want a raw, painted, or stained look.
- Think about your child's climbing stage: A floor bed works best once your toddler can climb in and out on their own safely. Low sides and open access matter more than height once your child is mobile and curious.
- Plan for the room, not just the bed: Floor beds sit low and take up a similar footprint to a twin frame, so measure your space including room to walk around it. Leave a clear path so your toddler can get in and out without obstacles.
- Ask about personalization timing: If a name or detail is added to the front grille, confirm spelling and placement before the order goes into production, since made to order pieces cannot be changed once built.
What size mattress does this bed fit?
It is built to fit a standard twin size mattress. No special or custom mattress is needed.
Is the wood treated or finished?
No, it arrives untreated and pre-sanded so you can leave it natural or add your own stain, paint, or sealant. If the bed will be near water or used outdoors, we recommend sealing it after assembly.
How hard is assembly?
The panels slot together and are secured with included hardware, using a Phillips screwdriver, a crescent wrench, and a rubber mallet. Wood joints can be snug depending on humidity, so a rubber mallet or a hammer wrapped in a cloth helps ease pieces into place.
Can I get my child's name on the bed?
Yes, the front grille and tailgate are customizable with a name. Confirm the spelling with us before production since each bed is made to order.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Orders ship from a US warehouse and typically go out within 5 business days since each bed is made to order. Because it is a custom piece, sales are final, but if it arrives damaged you have 30 days to request a replacement or refund, and our human support team is glad to help.
Will the wood color vary from the photos?
Some variation is normal since this is a natural material. You may see differences in grain, texture, or small knots from piece to piece, which is part of working with real wood.
