This shelf is made from solid plywood, not particleboard, so it holds its shape and weight over years of daily use. The clean, sanded edges are made to handle constant little hands pulling bins in and out.
The open shelving and slide out bins are set at a height and depth kids can manage themselves. That independence means less time spent handing out supplies and more time spent creating.

The low, wide base is designed for stability, and the open shelving lets kids reach and return items without climbing. As with any furniture, we recommend anchoring tall or freestanding pieces to the wall if children will be around it unsupervised.
