When rear facing, the G5+ docks and rotates toward the door so you can buckle your child without crawling across the seat. It is a small design change that makes a real difference for your back and knees, trip after trip.
The seat uses a deep cradle shape with durable cushioning to cushion and support your child for long rides. It is built to hold up to daily use, not just look good on day one.
Underneath the fabric is an aluminum frame built to aerospace grade standards for strength without unnecessary weight. The seat meets FMVSS 302 and FMVSS 213 safety tests, the federal standards every car seat sold in the US must pass.
