Our hedgehog grasping toy is made using hard maple, a dense, non-splintering wood, so it's safe for baby to play with for hours! It's lightweight and easy to hold, working on all those fine motor skills that are so important early on! The teething beads make for a fun added texture for your little one!
All toys come sanded satin smooth and left natural with no finish. The hedgehog is approximately 4" x 4" with a grasping hole in the center.

We use hard maple because it is sturdy and resists splintering, even after months of happy chewing. Every piece is sanded satin smooth and left natural, with no finish to worry about near baby's mouth.
Choose a single word to be permanently laser engraved on the hedgehog, turning a simple toy into a keepsake. It is a sweet detail for a new baby gift or a first toy you will want to hold onto.
At 4 inches by 4 inches with an open center hole, the hedgehog is easy for little fingers to grab and rotate. The lightweight shape makes it simple for baby to hold on their own while working on fine motor skills.

Wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it air dry fully. Avoid soaking the wood or running it through the dishwasher, since that can damage the finish and shorten its life.
