This baby rattle is natural and unstained, made from responsibly harvested trees, and is sure to last long enough to be passed down through several generations in your family. The finish is safe yet durable and made from an organic mix of flaxseed oil and locally grown beeswax. Choose any 3 colors for your disks!

Each rattle starts as a single piece of responsibly harvested cherry hardwood, left natural and unstained so the grain can show through. This is the kind of wood that holds up to years of little hands and still looks good enough to hand down to the next baby in the family.
Skip the plain version and have it laser engraved with a name, a nickname, or full birth stats like date, time, length, and weight. It turns a simple rattle into a piece your child can hold onto long after they outgrow the toy.
The finish is a simple mix of organic flaxseed oil and locally grown beeswax, chosen to be safe for a newborn who puts everything in reach of her mouth. It is CPSC compliant and sized to fit comfortably in small hands from birth.

Is this rattle safe for a newborn?
Yes, it is made for ages 0 and up. It is sized for small hands, finished with organic flaxseed oil and beeswax instead of paint, and it is CPSC compliant.
Can I choose any combination of disk colors?
Yes, you can pick any 3 colors for the disks from the available options. This lets you match a nursery theme or simply pick your baby's favorite colors.
What is the difference between personalization and the birth announcement option?
Personalization is for a single word, or two words if you choose the two word option, such as a name or nickname. The birth announcement option is for longer text like full name, birth date, time, length, and weight.
Will the engraving wear off over time?
No, the engraving is done with a laser and is permanent. It will not fade, rub off, or need to be reapplied as the rattle is used.
How long will this rattle actually hold up?
Because it is solid hardwood cherry rather than a hollow or laminated wood, it is built to survive years of chewing, dropping, and shaking. Many families keep it as a keepsake well after their child has outgrown it as a toy.
