One big gentle humpback whale in dusty blue and slate with a little spout and bubbles, the whole wall in one piece. Up to 59 inches wide.
2 separate pieces, each one cut to its own shape. Arrange them however you
like: scattered across a whole wall, gathered above a cot, or in a neat row along a shelf.
What You Get
2 individual decals on one sheet, already cut out. Nothing to trim, no
backing square around the artwork, so your own wall colour stays visible between the pieces
and the set looks painted straight onto the wall.

Prices for every size are shown in the size menu.
The pieces are printed together on one sheet, so a larger sheet means larger pieces, not
more of them. All four sizes contain the same 2 pieces. The three smaller
sheets come as a single piece; the largest comes as two panels.
Material
Peel and stick, self adhesive. No paste, no water, no tools. Satin finish, a soft sheen
between matte and gloss, so the colours stay rich without glare. Wipe clean with a damp
cloth. Works best on a smooth, fully cured painted wall.
How To Put Them Up
Lay the pieces out on the floor first to decide the arrangement. Peel one at a time, press
from the middle outwards, and go slowly. Each piece can be lifted and repositioned while
you are still working.

Each whale and each little bubble is cut to its own shape, with no clear film or backing square around it. That means your own wall color peeks through between the pieces, so the design looks painted on rather than stuck on.
Because the whale and bubble are separate pieces, you decide how they sit together. Group them above the crib, spread them across a whole wall, or line them up along a shelf, then move things around before you commit.
This humpback whale was painted for our shop and is not a licensed file or stock image resold elsewhere. You are getting a design that is genuinely ours, in soft dusty blue and slate tones that work with most nursery palettes.
The best size depends less on the whale itself and more on the wall and furniture around it.
- Measure the actual wall space: Note the width and height of the area you want to fill, not just the wall as a whole. Leave some breathing room around the decal rather than edge to edge coverage.
- Think about nearby furniture: If the decal will sit above a crib, dresser, or shelf, measure from the top of that furniture up to where you want the whale to end. This keeps the arrangement feeling intentional instead of accidental.
- Decide on your layout before ordering: Since the whale and bubble are separate pieces, plan roughly where each will go on the wall. Sizing is based on the full sheet, so both pieces scale up or down together.
- Check your wall surface: A smooth, fully cured painted wall gives the best adhesion and the cleanest edges. Textured, freshly painted, or wallpapered walls may not hold the decal as well.
- Ask for a custom size if needed: If none of the four standard sizes fit your space, send us the wall's width and height and we will set up a listing sized to match, at no extra design charge.
Will this damage my paint when I remove it?
It is designed to be removable, but results depend on your paint type and how long it has been up. We recommend testing a small corner first if you are especially concerned about your paint finish.
Can I reposition a piece after I've stuck it down?
Yes, each piece can be lifted and repositioned while you are still working on the initial placement. Once fully pressed down and left for a while, repositioning becomes harder, so it helps to lay everything out on the floor first.
Does the decal come with a white background square?
No, there is no backing square around the artwork. Each piece is cut to its own shape, so your wall color shows through between them.
What if my walls are a color other than white?
That is exactly how this decal is meant to work. Since only the whale and bubble shapes are printed, your existing wall color becomes part of the design.
What is your return policy if I order the wrong size?
We offer 30 day returns and our support team is happy to help you figure out the right size before you order if you are unsure. Since this ships from a US warehouse, exchanges are straightforward to arrange.
How long does it take to put both pieces up?
Most people finish in an afternoon. Lay the pieces out first to plan your arrangement, then peel and press one at a time, working from the middle outward.
