Wholesome linen natural car seat covers are crafted from 100% organic linen fabric includes our special internal raw flax membrane insert. Care Instructions
- Separate external linen covers from internal flax inserts by unsnapping the buttons and removing ONLY EXTERNAL LINEN COVER IS MACHINE WASHABLE
- Remove any spots from the external linen cover before the textile goes in the washer. Remove with dish soap: Wet the spot, apply a small amount of soap, and massage in or gently scrub with a toothbrush
- Put the external linen covers into the washing machine alone, setting washer to ‘delicate cycle' with ‘cold’ & ‘low water' setting
- Put minimal amount of non-bleach liquid detergent
- Once the item is washed either hang to air dry (no heat) until slightly damp or tumble dry delicate with no heat also until slightly damp
- Iron if needed & reattach internal flax insert to external linen cover and you are ready to use again!

Can I wash the whole liner in the machine?
Only the external linen cover is machine washable. Unsnap it from the internal flax insert first, then wash the cover alone on a delicate cold cycle with low water and a small amount of non-bleach detergent.
Does the flax insert need special care?
Yes, the raw flax tow insert should be removed before washing and is not meant to go in the washing machine. Keep it separate and simply reattach it to the clean, dry cover when you are ready to use the liner again.
Is this suitable for a newborn?
No, this liner is sized for toddlers age 2 to 5 and children from 28 to 60 pounds. For a younger baby, look for the infant version sized for 0 to 2 years.
