What You Get
Two peel and stick pieces: the rocket figure and a matching ruler strip. Both are cut to shape, so there is no backing square and your wall colour stays visible around them.
Size
Ruler strip: 2.5"W x 60"H (6 x 152 cm)
The figure is printed to the same height. Its width depends on the design and is shown in the size chart image.
How It Measures
Stick the bottom edge of the ruler 12 inches (1 ft) above the floor and the chart reads true height from 1 ft to 6 ft, marked every inch with foot labels. Full instructions and a simple floor guide are included.
Material
Matte self adhesive vinyl with a soft satin finish, printed with fade resistant inks. Removable and repositionable while you work, no glue, no water, no residue when it comes off. Made to order and shipped flat in a rigid mailer.
Care
Wipe gently with a dry cloth. Best on smooth painted walls; not for textured, freshly painted or damp surfaces.

The rocket figure and the ruler strip are each cut to their own shape, so there is no plastic rectangle around them. Your wall color shows right through the gaps, which is what makes it look painted on rather than stuck on.
Because the background is not printed, the decal reads the same clean way on white, sage, blue, or blush walls. You do not have to repaint or plan a nursery around it, it simply sits on the color that is already there.
Once the ruler is up, marking your child's height becomes part of the routine, right next to a shelf of toys or a favorite stool. Write the date beside each mark and the wall starts to hold a real record of how much they have grown.
A growth chart decal is a small commitment that stays on the wall for years, so it is worth matching it to your wall, your room, and how you actually want to use it.
- Check your wall surface first: Smooth, painted walls hold a decal best. Skip textured, freshly painted, or damp walls, since the adhesive will not sit flat and may lift over time.
- Plan the floor space you need: A growth chart needs a clear vertical run of wall from the floor up, so measure before you buy and picture it next to furniture that might crowd it later.
- Think about the room's color palette: Decals with a transparent background, rather than a printed backing square, tend to blend into more wall colors without looking like a sticker.
- Consider how you will mark heights: Some charts are meant to be written on directly, others are meant to stay untouched while you track height with a pencil mark on the wall beside them. Decide which you prefer before you start.
- Look for clear install instructions: A good growth chart decal comes with a simple floor guide so the first mark goes on straight and at the right starting height.
How high off the floor does the ruler start?
You stick the bottom edge of the ruler strip 12 inches above the floor. From there it reads true height from 1 ft to 6 ft, with every inch marked and foot labels along the way.
Will it damage my paint when I take it down?
No. It is a removable and repositionable vinyl decal, so it comes off cleanly without glue, water, or residue when it is time to move or repaint.
Can I put it on a textured or freshly painted wall?
It is best on smooth, painted walls. Textured, freshly painted, or damp surfaces will not let the adhesive sit flat, so it is best to wait until the paint has fully cured or choose a smoother wall.
What if I mess up the placement while sticking it on?
The vinyl is removable and repositionable while you work, so you can lift and reset it as you line up the ruler and figure before pressing it down for good.
How do I clean it once it is on the wall?
Wipe it gently with a dry cloth. It is not meant to be scrubbed or cleaned with water, so a light dusting is all it needs.
