-All our wood products come untreated. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE YOUR PRODUCT AROUND WATER OR OUTDOORS, we highly recommend sealing the product AFTER it’s been assembled.
-Excessive exposure to the sun and/or water and other liquids may cause warping and/or staining over time.
-Your product will arrive pre-sanded and untreated. It can easily be stained or painted once assembled. All products are wiped down prior to packaging, however, some wood dust may be present upon opening and can easily be cleaned off using a hair dryer or air compressor.
-Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, knots, texture and grain may occur.
-This product is made with Baltic Birch Plywood- a decorative hardwood plywood with veneer core.
-This product is both TSCA VI and CARB II compliant.
-This product is manufactured in Las Vegas, NV.
REFUND POLICY:
All orders are custom made-to-order and, therefore, FINAL SALE. However, should your product arrived damaged, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a replacement and/or refund.

ROCKY is cut from half inch USA Baltic birch plywood, a hardwood plywood known for its strength and clean grain. It arrives pre-sanded and unfinished, so you can stain it, paint it, or simply leave it in its natural wood tone to match your nursery.
Choose the small size for a little one just learning to climb and rock, or the large size for a toddler who is ready for a bigger ride. Both sizes share the same sturdy build, just scaled to fit your child.
Each horse is cut and assembled to order in Las Vegas, Nevada, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. That means a short wait of a few business days, but a piece made specifically for your order.
A rocking horse is a piece your child will use for years, so it helps to think about size, finish, and where it will live before you buy.
- Match the size to your child: If your child is younger or smaller, the small size will be easier for them to climb onto and balance on. The large size gives more room to grow into and suits an older toddler.
- Decide on a finish: The horse arrives unfinished and pre-sanded, so you can leave it as natural wood for a simple look, or stain or paint it to match your nursery decor. Any finish should be applied after assembly, not before.
- Think about assembly time: Plan for a short assembly session since the pieces slot together with included hardware. This is not a toy you can use straight out of the box.
- Consider wall mounting: Wall mounting hardware is included, which is worth using if you want extra stability once the horse is set up in a bedroom or playroom.
- Keep it indoors or seal it well: Because the wood is untreated, keep the horse indoors away from direct sun and moisture, or seal it after assembly if it will spend time near water or outdoors.
Does ROCKY come already assembled?
No, assembly is required. The pieces slot together with included hardware, and the maker describes it as very easy to put together.
What size should I choose for my baby?
The small size works well for a younger baby just starting to climb on, while the large size suits an older toddler who wants more room. Our sizing photo shows both next to a 10 month old for reference.
Can I paint or stain the rocking horse?
Yes, it arrives unfinished and pre-sanded specifically so you can stain, paint, or leave it in its natural wood color. Apply any finish after you assemble it.
Is this rocking horse safe to use outdoors?
It ships untreated, so if you plan to use it outside or near water, seal it after assembly. Without sealing, sun and moisture exposure can cause warping or staining over time.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Orders ship from a US warehouse with free shipping over $100, and our support team is happy to help with any questions. Since each horse is made to order it is final sale, but if it arrives damaged you have 30 days to request a replacement or refund.
Will there be any variation in the wood?
Yes, wood is a natural material, so slight differences in color, grain, or small knots can occur from piece to piece. This is normal for Baltic birch plywood and does not affect the strength of the horse.
