Introducing Poppy - A classic, simple, rich orange Newborn cloth diaper cover. The Rumparooz Newborn Cloth Diaper Cover is designed to grow with your baby with 3 adjustable rise settings that are designed to fit your preemie and newborn. Weight range of cover starts at 4 pounds and will fit up to approximately 15 pounds. Rumparooz Newborn Cloth Diaper Covers are generously sized and designed to fit over most newborn fitted or prefold diapers. Covers may be used multiple times before washing but should be placed into the laundry if it becomes soiled. Kanga Care uses a water resistant polyester TPU which is a solvent-free polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL.

The number one thing to remember when caring for your diapers is they are just another load! There is no magical solution that you should need and no crazy tricks.
Washing Instructions
- 1 Cold rinse

2 Hot wash: add the recommended amount of detergent for the appropriate load size.
- 3 Cool rinse
- 4 Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry in indirect sunlight.

Secure, adjustable hook and loop fastener lets you get a snug fit without complicated folding. The soft closure is gentle on newborn skin and easy to adjust during quick changes.
Kanga Care uses solvent-free polyester TPU laminated with thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process. This results in a lower-toxicity, water resistant barrier designed to be gentler on the environment than some traditional laminations.
Three adjustable rise settings give a secure fit from about 4 to 15 pounds, so one cover works for early sizes. The roomy cut is intended to fit over most newborn fitted or prefold diapers for a tidy system.
Picking the right cover comes down to fit, what you want to pair it with, and how you plan to wash.
- Check the Fit: Look at the weight range and leg elastic, aim for a snug, gap-free fit around the waist and legs to prevent leaks.
- Closure Preference: Decide if you want an adjustable hook and loop closure for faster changes or snaps for long-term, low-maintenance use.
- Pairing with Inserts: Covers are not absorbent, so plan to use them with a newborn fitted, prefold, or flat diaper to provide absorbency.
- How Many to Buy: If you wash every other day, 6 to 10 covers is a practical starting point; buy fewer if you plan to use disposables at night.
- Care and Longevity: Follow the recommended wash routine and avoid bleach or laundry additives to keep the laminate and elastics lasting longer.
Will this cover fit my preemie or tiny newborn?
Yes. The Rumparooz newborn cover has three rise settings and is designed to fit babies starting at about 4 pounds up to roughly 15 pounds.
Can I use this cover by itself as the diaper?
No. This is a waterproof cover only, not absorbent. Always use it over a flat, prefold, or fitted diaper to absorb wetness.
How should I wash these covers?
Wash once before first use. Cold rinse, hot wash with recommended detergent, cool rinse, then tumble low or lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach, Oxiclean, Borax, or other laundry additives.
What if I still notice leaks?
First check fit and leg elastics, then confirm you are using adequate absorbency inside the cover. Adjust the rise setting and ensure the insert is positioned correctly; contact customer support if you need help troubleshooting.
