Introducing Scarlet - A classic, simple, rich red Newborn cloth diaper cover. The Rumparooz Newborn Cloth Diaper Cover is designed to grow with your baby with 3 adjustable rise settings that are designed to fit your preemie and newborn. Weight range of cover starts at 4 pounds and will fit up to approximately 15 pounds. Rumparooz Newborn Cloth Diaper Covers are generously sized and designed to fit over most newborn fitted or prefold diapers. Covers may be used multiple times before washing but should be placed into the laundry if it becomes soiled. Kanga Care uses a water resistant polyester TPU which is a solvent-free polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL.

The number one thing to remember when caring for your diapers is they are just another load! There is no magical solution that you should need and no crazy tricks.
Washing Instructions
- 1 Cold rinse

2 Hot wash: add the recommended amount of detergent for the appropriate load size.
- 3 Cool rinse
- 4 Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry in indirect sunlight.

- Size and Fit: Look for adjustable rise settings and a low cut leg to fit small waists. Choose covers that state a weight range so you know when to size up.
- What to Pair: Newborn covers are made to go over prefolds or fitteds, not as a standalone absorbent layer. Match the cover to the thickness of the insert for a good fit.
- Material Safety: Prefer solvent-free TPU or PUL that uses heat bonding rather than heavy chemical lamination. That lowers overall chemical exposure while keeping the cover waterproof.
- How Many to Buy: For every two to three absorbent diapers have one cover you can rotate, so you always have a dry cover ready. Newborn sizes tend to get used for a shorter time, so buy fewer than you would for one-size covers.
- Washing Tips: Treat covers like any other laundry load: cold rinse, hot wash with recommended detergent, cool rinse, then low tumble or air dry. Avoid bleach, Oxiclean, Borax and similar additives.

Yes, this is a waterproof cover only and should be used over a flat, prefold, or fitted diaper to provide absorbency and a proper seal.
Can I reuse a cover between changes?
