-All our wood products come untreated. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE YOUR PRODUCT AROUND WATER OR OUTDOORS, we highly recommend sealing the product AFTER it’s been assembled.
-Excessive exposure to the sun and/or water and other liquids may cause warping and/or staining over time.
-Your product will arrive pre-sanded and untreated. It can easily be stained or painted once assembled. All products are wiped down prior to packaging, however, some wood dust may be present upon opening and can easily be cleaned off using a hair dryer or air compressor.
-Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, knots, texture and grain may occur.
-This product is made with Baltic Birch Plywood- a decorative hardwood plywood with veneer core.
-This product is both TSCA VI and CARB II compliant.
-This product is manufactured in Las Vegas, NV.

All orders are custom made-to-order and, therefore, FINAL SALE. However, should your product arrived damaged, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a replacement and/or refund.

This bookshelf is built from half inch USA Baltic birch plywood, a hardwood plywood known for holding up to years of little hands. It arrives pre-sanded so the surface is smooth and ready to use right out of the box, or ready for you to stain or paint if you want to match your nursery.
The front-facing shelves let your child see the covers instead of just spines, so they can choose a book on their own instead of asking you to find it. That small bit of independence makes story time something they look forward to instead of something they need help with.
Every piece is built after you order it, by a small team in Las Vegas rather than pulled off a warehouse shelf. It normally ships within 1 to 5 business days, so you get furniture made with care instead of mass produced overseas.
Picking the right bookshelf comes down to how your child will actually use it, not just how it looks in a photo.
- Front facing vs spine out: Front facing shelves like this one let toddlers recognize and choose books by their covers, which encourages independent reading habits earlier. Spine out shelves hold more books but require kids to already recognize titles.
- Height for your child's age: A shelf around 28 inches tall keeps the top row within reach for toddlers and preschoolers without needing a step stool. If you have a very young toddler, look for one with lower top shelves so nothing gets pulled down.
- Material and finish: Solid plywood holds up better to daily handling than particleboard or MDF, especially with repeated tugging on books. An untreated wood finish also gives you the option to paint or stain later to match a changing room.

Does this bookshelf require a lot of assembly?
No, assembly is described as very easy and wood glue and hardware are included when needed. Most parents can put it together in a short amount of time with basic tools.
Can I paint or stain the bookshelf?
Yes, it arrives untreated and pre-sanded, so it is ready to be painted, stained, or sealed if you want a different look. Left as-is, the natural Baltic birch grain also looks great on its own.
Is this safe to use outdoors or near water?
It is not recommended as-is. The wood is untreated, so it should be sealed after assembly if it will be near water or outdoors, since sun and moisture exposure can cause warping or staining over time.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Orders ship from a US warehouse and shipping is free on orders over $100. This item is made to order and final sale, but you have 30 days from purchase to request a replacement or refund if it arrives damaged.
Will the wood look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Wood is a natural material, so some variation in color, grain, and small knots is normal and part of what makes each piece unique.
