★ The wood comes untreated and is beautiful when left as-is. We do not offer any in-house painting or staining, however, products can be painted or stained after-the-fact. If you decide to paint, stain, or seal your product we do recommend doing so AFTER the product has been assembled.
★ Assembly is required - All pieces slot together- so easy even your toddler can help! All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included. Basic tools required. Almost all products can be assembled with a screw driver, but an electric drill is recommended.

GENERAL INFORMATION/DISCLAIMERS:-Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, knots, texture and grain may occur.
-All our wood products come untreated. If you are planning to use your product outdoors or around water, we highly recommend sealing the product AFTER it’s been assembled. Excessive exposure to the sun and/or water and other liquids may cause warping and/or staining over time.
-This product is made with Baltic Birch Plywood- a decorative hardwood plywood with veneer core.
-Our wood is both TSCA VI and CARB II compliant.
REFUND POLICY:
All of our orders are custom made-to-order and, therefore, FINAL SALE. Should you wish to return a product or cancel an order after your product has shipped, you will be responsible for the initial shipping cost in addition to the return shipping cost. However, should your product arrive damaged, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a replacement and/or refund.

The teepee frame turns bedtime into an invitation, not a battle. Kids love having a cozy nook they can climb into on their own, and the open frame keeps the room feeling light and playful rather than boxed in.
Every bed starts as 5/8 inch Baltic birch plywood, a hardwood plywood chosen for its strength and clean grain. Each piece is pre-sanded smooth before it ever leaves our workshop, so there is no rough edge for little hands to catch on.
The slatted base is cut and fitted for even support under a standard mattress, night after night. It is a simple design with no shortcuts, made to hold up through toddler years and beyond.
Floor beds come in a range of styles and sizes, so it helps to think through a few practical details before you buy.
- Match the mattress size: Check your existing crib or toddler mattress dimensions against the bed frame before ordering, since a snug fit keeps the mattress from sliding within the slats.
- Consider the room layout: A teepee frame has a taller profile than a simple platform, so measure ceiling height and nearby furniture to make sure it fits comfortably without feeling cramped.
- Decide on finish now or later: Untreated wood has a warm, natural look on its own, but if you plan to paint or stain it, do that after assembly so the joints and slats are fully coated and protected.
- Plan for assembly time: Slot-together designs are meant to be simple, but set aside real time to do it right, and keep a screwdriver or drill on hand along with the included hardware.
- Think about the transition: A floor bed works best once a child is already climbing in and out of a crib on their own, so consider your child's mobility and safety awareness before making the switch.

Do I need to seal or finish the wood?
No, the wood is beautiful left untreated, but you can paint, stain, or seal it after assembly if you prefer a different look or plan to use it in a humid space.
How hard is assembly?
The pieces slot together with included hardware and instructions, and most people can complete it with just a screwdriver, though an electric drill makes it faster.
Is this bed safe for a toddler to use on their own?
The low, open floor bed design is meant to make it easy for a toddler to get in and out independently, but as with any floor bed, keep an eye on room setup and nearby hazards during the transition.
