The flat wall around the hole is not printed. Only the broken edge and the scene behind it
are, so your own wall colour carries on around the sticker and the illusion holds whether
your wall is white, sage, blue or blush.

How It Arrives
Up to 59"W it comes as a single sheet, already cut to the shape of the hole. Nothing to line
up, no seams to hide. Peel, press from the middle outwards, and you are done in about ten
minutes. The two largest sizes, 70"W and 80"W, arrive as two panels that overlap along a
printed guide line.

Material
Peel and stick, self adhesive. No paste, no water, no tools. Satin finish, a soft sheen
between matte and gloss, so the colours stay rich without glare. Wipe clean with a damp
cloth. Works best on a smooth, fully cured painted wall.

The broken edge and the shipwreck scene are printed in sharp detail, while the flat wall around it is left untouched. That is what makes it read as an actual hole from across the room, not just a picture stuck to the wall.
Because only the scene and the cracked edge are printed, your own paint carries on right up to the sticker. Whether your wall is white, sage, blue, or blush, the illusion holds instead of sitting on top like a flat decal.
This is a self adhesive sticker with no paste, water, or tools involved. Peel the backing, press from the middle outward, and the design is up in about ten minutes on a clean, smooth wall.
Picking a size comes down to how much wall you have and how much presence you want the piece to have in the room.
- Measure the actual wall: Take the width and height of the wall you are decorating before choosing a size, not just a guess. This keeps the sticker from feeling cramped or lost on the wall.
- Leave breathing room around it: A good rule is to leave at least a few inches of bare wall on each side so the broken edge effect reads clearly, rather than running the design edge to edge.
- Think about furniture placement: If the wall has a bed, dresser, or shelf against it, measure the visible wall space above and around that furniture, since that is what will actually be seen day to day.
- Check your wall condition first: This works best on a smooth, fully cured painted wall. If you have painted recently, give it about four weeks to cure before applying.
- Ask for a custom size if needed: If none of the eight standard sizes fit your space, message the shop with your wall's width and height and a listing will be set up at no extra design charge.
Will this work on my wall color?
Yes. Only the broken edge and the underwater scene are printed, so your own wall color shows through around it. This holds true whether your wall is white, sage, blue, or blush.
Is it hard to install?
No special skills are needed. It is peel and stick with no paste, water, or tools, and sizes up to 59 inches wide arrive as a single sheet already cut to the shape of the hole, so there is nothing to line up.
What about the two largest sizes?
The 70 inch and 80 inch wide sizes arrive as two panels that overlap along a printed guide line, since a single sheet that large would be difficult to ship and apply.
Can I remove or reposition it if I make a mistake?
The description does not go into removal or repositioning steps, so we recommend pressing from the middle outward slowly and checking alignment as you go rather than rushing the application.
What if I need a size that is not listed?
Message the shop with your wall's width and height and a listing will be created for you at no extra design charge, in any size or proportion.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Orders ship from a US warehouse and orders over $100 get free US shipping. If it is not right for your space, returns are accepted within 30 days, and a real person is available if you have questions.
