Show your state pride with our Tennessee State shaped baby rattle™. This rattle is made from solid hardwood Cherry. This baby rattle is natural and unstained, made from responsibly harvested trees, and is sure to last long enough to be passed down through several generations in your family. The finish is safe yet durable and made from an organic mix of flaxseed oil and locally grown beeswax. You can choose from the color options in the last picture. Choose any 3 colors for your disks!

This rattle is cut from solid cherry hardwood and left unstained so the natural grain shows through. The wood comes from responsibly harvested trees, giving every rattle its own unique look.

The open center ring and rounded edges are easy for small fingers to grip and for little mouths to explore. It is a toy made for the chewing, grabbing stage, not just for looking at on a shelf.

- Know the word limit: A single word or a hyphenated name fits the standard option. For two separate words or full birth stats, choose the matching option so the engraving comes out correctly.
- Consider it as a gift: Because it is state shaped and engravable, it works well for baby showers, new sibling gifts, or a keepsake from out of state family.
- Plan for how it will be used: If this is mainly a teether for now, keep personalization short and simple. If it is meant as a lasting keepsake, birth stats make it more meaningful over time.
Is this rattle safe for a newborn to use?
Yes, it is designed for ages 0 and up and is CPSC compliant. The wood is finished with an organic beeswax and flaxseed blend rather than synthetic paints or sealants.
Can I choose any colors I want for the disks?
You can pick any 3 colors from the available options shown at checkout. This lets you match a nursery theme or simply choose your family's favorite colors.
What is the difference between personalization and the birth announcement option?
Personalization covers one word, two words, or a hyphenated name engraved on the rattle. The birth announcement option is for longer text like full name, birth date, time, length, and weight.
Will the engraving wear off over time?
No, the engraving is done with a laser and is permanent. It will not fade or rub off with normal handling and cleaning.
How do I clean the rattle?
Wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry fully before giving it back to your baby. Avoid soaking it in water since it is a natural wood finish, not a sealed plastic surface.
