This rattle is natural and unstained. The whale is made from light maple wood and finished with our own special mix of organic beeswax and flax seed oil making this toy both beautiful and durable. And at 3.75 x 4.5 inches, it is the perfect size for your little one's hands. Choose any 3 disk colors!

Each rattle starts as light maple hardwood, left unstained so the natural grain shows through. A mix of organic beeswax and flaxseed oil is worked in by hand, giving the wood a soft feel and a warm, lasting finish.
Leave it plain or have it laser engraved with a name, a short word, or full birth stats. It turns a simple rattle into a keepsake that gets saved long after baby outgrows it.
At 3.75 by 4.5 inches, the whale shape fits easily into small palms and is light enough for early grasping. The open loop design makes it easy to pick up, shake, and gum.

It is designed for babies starting at birth. Because it is a small handheld toy, always supervise playtime as you would with any rattle.
Is the wood safe for babies to chew on?
Yes. The maple wood is finished with organic beeswax and flaxseed oil rather than synthetic coatings, and the toy is CPSC compliant.
Can I choose my own color combination?
Yes. You can pick any 3 disk colors to customize the look of your rattle before it ships.
How does the engraving work?
You can leave the rattle plain or have it laser engraved with one word, two words, or full birth stats including name, date, time, length, and weight. Two words or hyphenated names require selecting the two word option, and three or more words need the birth stat option.
How do I clean the rattle?
Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it or running it through the dishwasher, since that can damage the wood and finish.
What is your shipping and return policy?
Orders ship from our US warehouse, and shipping is free on orders over $100. If something is not right, we accept returns within 30 days and our customer support team is made up of real people who can help.
