What You Get
Two peel and stick pieces: the woodland tree figure and a matching ruler strip. Both are cut to shape, so there is no backing square and your wall colour stays visible around them.
Size
Ruler strip: 2.5"W x 60"H (6 x 152 cm)
The figure is printed to the same height. Its width depends on the design and is shown in the size chart image.
How It Measures
Stick the bottom edge of the ruler 12 inches (1 ft) above the floor and the chart reads true height from 1 ft to 6 ft, marked every inch with foot labels. Full instructions and a simple floor guide are included.
Material
Matte self adhesive vinyl with a soft satin finish, printed with fade resistant inks. Removable and repositionable while you work, no glue, no water, no residue when it comes off. Made to order and shipped flat in a rigid mailer.
Care
Wipe gently with a dry cloth. Best on smooth painted walls; not for textured, freshly painted or damp surfaces.

Both the tree figure and the ruler strip are cut to their own outline, so there is no backing square around them. Your wall color shows through everywhere except the printed design itself, so it blends right into the room.
Mark 12 inches up from the floor, line up the ruler with a level, then set the tree figure beside it. The vinyl is removable and repositionable while you work, so there is no rush and no mess to fix if you need to adjust it.
A growth chart decal is a small decision with a few practical details worth checking before you buy.
- Check your wall surface: Peel and stick vinyl works best on smooth, painted walls. Avoid textured plaster, wallpaper, or walls that were painted in the last few weeks, since the paint needs to fully cure first.
- Confirm your ceiling height: Most growth charts read from about 1 foot to 6 feet. Measure the wall space you have in mind to make sure the full height fits without running into a window, outlet, or trim.
- Think about the room's color scheme: Decals cut to shape, with no backing square, let your existing wall color show through around the design. This makes it easier to fit into a room you have already decorated.
- Decide how you will mark heights: Some charts are meant to be written on directly, others are best paired with a marker or sticker set. Check whether the surface is intended for pen marks or if you will keep a separate log.
- Plan for a two person job if needed: Getting a tall strip perfectly level is easier with a second set of hands and a level tool, especially if you want the ruler and figure aligned on the first try.
Will this damage my paint when I take it down?
No. The vinyl is removable and repositionable, and it comes off without glue residue or water damage when handled gently. It is best suited to smooth, painted walls rather than textured or freshly painted ones.
How accurate is the height reading?
The ruler reads true height from 1 foot to 6 feet as long as the bottom edge is placed exactly 12 inches above the floor, using a level. Every inch is marked, with foot labels for easy reading.
Can I move it to a new house later?
Yes, it is removable and repositionable while you are installing it, but once fully adhered and left long term, it is meant to stay in place rather than be peeled and reused elsewhere.
What if my walls are textured?
This decal is designed for smooth, painted walls and is not recommended for textured, freshly painted, or damp surfaces, since the adhesive will not sit as well and may not hold long term.
