Babee Greens' one-of-a-kind wool diaper covers are made from upcycled soft wool sweaters! Each cover is lined with Oeko Tex 100 certified Merino Wool. Easy to clean and can be made water proof using our lanolin.

Since every cover is unique and these covers are made from upcycled wool sweaters, you should expect a wonderful variety of shades and tones of the color which you select.
We make our wool covers by upcycling 100% Merino Wool sweaters that we hand select for softness with your baby in mind. Each cover is lined with Oeko Tex 100 certified Merino Wool and has a 100% cotton interfacing in the wings and front (to hold the snaps securly in place). The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for all stages of textile production. This certification ensures that products are free from harmful substances. There is no finer certification than the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. It goes beyond the organic label!
Each cover is one of a kind. Three rows of snaps and latex free elastic provide an adjustable fit to accommodate your growing baby. We use only latex free elastics that have been sewn on the interior of leg openings and waist to avoid any allergic reactions. Wool is highly absorbent. It will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture and is slow to feel damp, yet remains breathable, allowing maximum circulation around your baby’s bum. It contains natural lanolin, which creates a waterproof barrier. Its elasticity means the cover fits well, yet moves with your baby. Wool is easy to care for. It doesn’t need to be washed as often as other covers and it is naturally anti-bacterial.
Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Periodic lanolizing is needed for optimum absorbency. (See lanolizing instructions under product information on Babee Greens home page)

Three rows of snaps and elastic provide an adjustable fit so one cover works across sizes. The natural elasticity of wool moves with your baby for comfort as they wiggle and play.
Wool absorbs moisture while staying slow to feel damp and breathable, and natural lanolin helps create a water resistant barrier when lanolized. Periodic lanolizing keeps the cover working its best.

Do these covers prevent leaks on their own?
Wool is naturally water resistant because of lanolin, but for best protection lanolize the cover and pair it with a good absorbent diaper.
How do I choose the right size?
Use the weight ranges: Small 8 to 18 lbs, Medium 15 to 25 lbs, Large 20 to 35 lbs, and adjust with the snaps for a snug fit.
