- Made to Last: All covers are sewn with a double stitch and at least 12 stitches/inch.
Like all products made from cotton, your cover will shrink when washed and dried the first time. Don't worry. we have taken that into consideration and made our covers a bit bigger. They will not be too small after they have been washed. Natural Cream Color.
Easy Care Instructions: Machine wash hot water up to 140°. Do not use any chlorine bleach. Machine dry on medium setting. Special Note: Cover must be completely dry before putting on mattresses or pillows.

Made from certified organic cotton with a 280 thread count, this encasing contains no chemicals, dyes, or added treatments. The tightly woven fabric is gentle on sensitive skin while providing natural protection.
A heavy-gauge nylon zipper and rust-proof metal pulls close fully around the mattress to stop dust and allergens. All covers are double-stitched with at least 12 stitches per inch for reliable, long-lasting use.
With an average pore size of 5.9 microns, the weave blocks dust mites while allowing air and moisture to escape. That balance helps keep the crib cooler and reduces trapped humidity.
A good encasing protects against allergens while staying breathable and easy to care for.
- Know Your Goal: Choose an encasing to reduce allergen exposure or protect an older mattress, not as a substitute for a waterproof barrier if you need fluid protection.
- Measure Mattress Size: Measure mattress length, width, and depth before buying. This cover is made slightly larger to allow for initial shrinkage after washing.
- Breathability Matters: If airflow is a priority, pick natural fibers like cotton. Waterproof covers block fluids but can reduce breathability, consider both needs.
- Care & Shrinkage: Expect some shrinkage on first wash. Follow machine wash hot and tumble dry medium, and make sure the cover is completely dry before use.
- Replace When Worn: Replace the encasing if the zipper fails, stitching unravels, or the fabric becomes thin and no longer provides a secure barrier.
Is this safe for newborns?
Yes. The cover is 100 percent organic cotton with no added chemicals or treatments. Always follow safe sleep guidelines, using a firm mattress and only a fitted sheet for sleep.
Will this make my mattress waterproof?
No. This encasing is designed as a breathable dust mite and allergen barrier, not a waterproof or liquid-proof cover.
Will it fit my crib mattress?
The encasing is made to fit over any mattress, new or not so new, and is intentionally made a bit larger to account for first-wash shrinkage. Measure your mattress to confirm a comfortable fit.
How do I wash and dry the cover?
Machine wash hot up to 140 degrees, do not use chlorine bleach, and tumble dry on medium. Ensure the cover is completely dry before putting it back on the mattress.
