Organic Wool fiber is naturally resistant to bacteria, mites, and even water. Wool is a natural barrier to keep dry and comfortable. Used between fitted sheet and mattress, futon or use alone. This wool is GOTS certified organic wool milled and carded in the USA. If you are concerned about wool shrinking, choose a larger size by 2 inches.
Made for standard mattress sizes: Twin, Full, Queen, King and Cal King
- 100% organic wool (GOTS) made in USA
- Pad is approximately 1/4 of an inch thick
- Washing with lanolin-based soap is highly suggested
- Lanolin-based soap is available under "puddle pad section"
Care instructions: hand wash or rinse with cool water, using a lanolin-based soap is the very best to keep your wool pad "water repellant" ready. Then shape pad on towel and lay flat to dry. Another option is to rinse and put in the sun to naturally sanitize wool pad.
If you would like to “felt” the wool – dry in machine drier – wool pad shrink up to 2-4 inches

This pad uses GOTS certified wool that is carded and milled in the USA, so you know the fiber is organic from source to finish. Wool's natural lanolin helps resist bacteria, dust mites and light moisture without synthetic treatments.
At about 1/4 inch thick, the puddle pad breathes with your mattress, helping regulate temperature and move light moisture away from skin. Use it between a fitted sheet and mattress, on a futon, or alone for added comfort.
Hand wash or rinse in cool water with a lanolin based soap, then reshape and lay flat to dry, or sun sanitize for natural cleaning. If you are concerned about shrinkage, order a pad 2 inches larger, or contact us for custom sizing.
A few simple choices will ensure the pad fits your mattress and performs as you expect.
- Pick the right size: Choose the standard mattress size that matches your mattress, Twin through Cal King. For nonstandard mattresses, ask about a custom order.
- Plan for shrinkage: Wool can shrink if machine dried, up to a few inches. If worried, order 2 inches larger to allow for slight shrinkage.
- Decide how to use it: Use the puddle pad between your fitted sheet and mattress for protection, on a futon, or alone for a thin breathable layer.

Can I use this pad for a baby or crib mattress?
This pad is made for standard mattress sizes, Twin through Cal King, and is not sized for standard cribs. For infant sleep, follow current safe sleep guidance and avoid loose layers in a crib.
Will the pad shrink when washed?
Wool can shrink if machine dried or felted, potentially a few inches. Hand wash and air dry to minimize shrinkage, or order a pad 2 inches larger if concerned.
How should I wash and dry the wool pad?
Hand wash or rinse in cool water with a lanolin based soap, reshape on a towel, and lay flat to dry. Sunlight can naturally sanitize the wool. Machine drying will felt and shrink the pad.
Is the pad waterproof?
No, the pad is not fully waterproof, it is naturally water resistant and helps keep light moisture away from the mattress but will not stop heavy spills.
