The active ingredient in our Eczema cream and Shampoo, colloidal oatmeal, has a long history of beneficial use in dermatology with an excellent safety record and has demonstrated efficacy in protecting and relieving skin irritations such as eczema. It is also FDA approved for use to treat eczema afflicted skin.
After searching for a long time, I found a USA supplier of Colloidal Oatmeal that is not only certified organic but is also gluten-free and meets strict FDA OTC protocol. Perfect! Since eczema flare-ups can be triggered by food allergies it’s important to reduce potential irritants which is why we wanted Colloidal oatmeal without gluten (gluten is a common trigger for eczema flare-ups). The effects of eczema are uncomfortable for babies and grown-ups alike and this protective cream hits the bulls-eye in gentleness and hydration.
