Designed to work well for elastic, bulbous, or sensitive nipples, and offered in a wider size range, these flanges help more moms get a secure seal. A stable seal tends to improve suction and shorten pumping time.

A comfortable, well fitting flange can reduce pain and improve milk removal; these simple checks help you pick the right size.
- Measure Your Nipple: Measure nipple diameter when it is relaxed, from base to base. Use that number to choose the nearest flange size.
- Start With Your Size: If you already pump, try your usual flange size first, then adjust based on comfort and how much areola is drawn into the tunnel.
- Watch for Pain: Pain, pinching, or white or bruised tissue are signs the flange may be too small or misaligned. Stop and try a different size.
- Make Small Changes: Move up or down one size at a time to find better comfort and maintain suction, rather than skipping several sizes.
- Confirm Compatibility: Check the User Guide for connector tips and adapter instructions, especially for pumps with integrated, all in one flange assemblies.
Will these flanges fit my breast pump?
They are compatible with most pump base connectors, but pumps that use integrated, all in one flange assemblies may need an adapter. See the User Guide for connector instructions and videos.
How do I choose the right flange size?
Measure nipple diameter and pick the nearest size, then test for comfort and how much areola is pulled into the tunnel during a short pumping session.
How should I clean Cushy flanges?
Wash with warm soapy water after each use, rinse well, and let air dry. Refer to the User Guide for any recommended sterilizing steps.
Can I use lubricant with these flanges?
A light, pump safe lubricant can improve comfort and seal. Check the User Guide for recommended options and reapply as needed between sessions.
What if the flanges do not fit or I do not like them?
